That's it, then I can relax from all the hassle of Christmas shopping and get too see what all is under the tree. Yippee!!
Yesterday, we went up to my aunt's place in Camrose, hung out in the hot tub, and ate like bears, which is normal for us. Think I may have gotten everyone else sick/alarmed with my hacking, but oh well, apologies if I did get you sick. Didn't get home til 1 in the morning, but oh well, it was worth it, even with the headache and tiredness and skipping church again. Also got to meet my cousin's really cute kitten... awww!!!! My (other) aunt gave me tobyMac's CD Welcome to Diverse City, am now very happy since I have wanted that one for about ever!!
Friday: had poker night at my place, that was tons of fun. May have 2 families now that I can possibly sit for, Salem's a cutie!! Was also last day of school for the year, spent most of the day watching movies in soc, french, and drama. Fun!
Thursday: Skipped school to go Christmas shopping in Calgary w/ my parents/the Dynamic Duo, am now finished for my fambly! Now, Bronwhin and Naomi and Jordan....
Wednesday: Hmm, what did I do then? Prob. just hacked around some more, was too sick to go to guitar so I skipped, not fun, srry Jared. :(
Tuesday: Had no karate, since it's out for the year, so I did nothing.
Monday: Started last week of school this year, yippee!!!! Also was my B-day, happy!!
Sunday: skipped church due to sick/tired
Saturday: Had Jessica and KJ and Amy over for pizza and movies, watched X2 and Pirates 2, very fun!
Annnnnnnnd guess that's it....
Merry Christmas to all, and to all... meh, you know the rest.

Blech.
As I speak (speak, type, think, whatever), I am sitting at home, instead of on the school mall hunt in Calgary, cuz I have a really nasty chest cold/fever/headache combo. Not fun. :(
I woke up around 3 this morning, that clued me in that I was really sick. This annoying thing I've got, when I'm sick, I'll sleep all day and then won't be able to sleep at all that night. Yeesh. Anyhow, I got back to sleep after about an hour, woke up at 7, dozed til 8, and have been in bed all day. Nasty. Am living off of cold-fx, other various cold drugs, and a lot of juice and tea substances.
Am really hoping I'll be better by tommorow, cuz it's my 15th birthday party and I really don't wanna have resceduele it til after Christmas. Anyone up for praying for poor, sick Canadiangirl? Pwetty pweeze?
Anyways, have to go, Dad's taking us to Brooks to met some clients, I have permission to just hibernate in the car while they're in there, may just do that.
ugh... freakin' headaches....

Last couple of weeks....
... I have done not much that requires its own post, and I haven't had time even if they did, so here we go....
1. I got my green belt!!!! Yippee!!!!!! We still have some white belts in our dojo who didn't grade, but we have a lot of yellow and green belts now, yahoo!!!! One more step lethal... lol
2. My sorta-kinda-boyfriend is gone for the next 4 1/2 weeks in Brazil, I miss him and he's only been gone for a few days!!! I didn't get to talk to him before he left either, very unhappy about that, but oh well, I guess I'll live.
3. My birthday is in 8 days!!!!! I'm turning 15 next Monday, very happy!!! now I gotta figure out how to drive... :D (If anyone's wondering, I like tobyMac and X-men. And I hear POTC2 is out on DVD... *hint*)
4. Umm....... we went to see Happy Feet in theaters last night, it was pretty funny. "Frodo" and "Wolverine"'s actors are in there as 'Mumble' and some weird freaky penguin elder guy. Oh well, it was a good movie.
5. Went to Midnite Madness in 2 1/2 Bumps a few nights ago, that was pretty fun. Got my parents some good gifts.... not telling though! lol
6. Umm.............. sheesh, what else did I do? Uhh..... let me see........
7. Oh yeah, injury(s) of the week consisted of me getting whacked upside the head with a script and rug-burning my knee while getting thrown against a wall. Now I got a cool bruise on my leg, looks painful!!
8. Went tobagganing today behind the truck, the tobaggon broke, so we sat on the inner tube while hanging on to the rope.... very annoying when you get turned around, I pulled about three 360's before losing the rope!!! Very painful, now my shoulder hurts!!! And the fact I've got a ton of snow in the backside of my jeans......
9. Saw a bunch of my extended fambly at a reunion in Sylvan Lake, that was fun.
And I don't think I've done anything else recently, so..... yeah

"Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree.....
... la la la la, la la la" Yes, it is the season! Yahoo!!!!!!! And so starts the month where you have to be extra good.... :S Oh well, it's worth some manners for a month! lol
My fambly has already got most of our decorations up, I think all that's left is my own little tree (oh yeah, and the loot, how could I forget? :D). Mom has her tree and my bro's tree up in the living room, along with all the other garlands... so pretty!
Of course, "Christmas season" means "winter" which usually means "cruddy road contitions", particularily here, which brings me to last night's adventure....
Yesterday afternoon, I got a short-notice phone call from a guy in Linden, asking me to babysit his kids, ages 5, 3, and 1, respectivly. Of course, I accept, but I'm freaking out, since I have never even changed a diaper, what the heck am I supposed to do?!
(Keep in mind, I've never even taken a babysitting course, the most I've done is watching for a friend of my Dad, and the kids were older!)
I get to their place around 3, met Caleb, Ethan, and Zach, (and they were pretty cute, to), got the scheduele from the mom, and was left with them for the afternoon and evening, and entireity of about 8 hours. Their mother taught me the finer points of changing a diaper, told me that the one-year-old probably wldn't take a dump while I was babysitting, and was out.
The kids and I had a blast, they were great to work with. Zach went to sleep around 7, Caleb and Ethan a little later than they were supposed to, since they claimed to be getting ready for bed. Oh well.
The parents didn't get back til about 11, and I got driven home on roads that looked pretty alarming, with the amount of snow gettting blown onto us. But as is evident, I returned safely, the kids liked me, and the parents have another possible babysitter!
Now I'm really bushed, only got 8 hours of sleep, and I need more coffee.... but that was still fun. And since I'm too tired to type any more.... yeah. Cia!

I... HATE...... WINTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As I speak, it is minus 20-something degrees Celcius, snowing, and even though I'm inside exercising my fingers, they are still going numb. AAARRGGHH!!!! I hate winter!!!! And they fact that Tina says that Peru is hot, Dorothy just got back from Flordia, Mom and Dad were recently in Maui, and Tom is going to Brazil next month...... %&@(#!!!!! Oh well.
Anyways, now that I have vented my wrath at the weather and my (very) lucky friends...
Am grading for my green belt!!!!! Yippeee!!!!!! If I'm stuck with my orange belt for another term I may scream.... so I really hope I get my green!!! Am fairly sore from practice today, and am tired from a caffiene defficiency attack, but oh well, it's a Flex Friday tomorrow, I get to sleep in!!!!! Yahoo!!!!
Oh yeah, and Mom comes home from a 5-day shift tonight!! Happy!!!!
We ended physics!!!! Happy!!!! All I have left is the test on Tuesday, then I am FREE!!!!!!!!!! *ahem* I hate physics, but you cldn't guess that, cld ya?!
We (finally) got our school pics back, decided that these weren't the best, but definetly better than grade 7 or 8, that was horrible!!!! Please don't ask....
Was at a BUG girl's conference/PJ party last night, that was really fun. Got to meet Amanda Falk in person, even got her to sign my pajama shirt.... very cool!!! Also got to paint my nails chrome and black, very cool!! Oh yeah, forgot to mention the (ladies, please sit) chocolate fountain fondue!!!!!!!!!!! Very happy, but am now going through chocolate withdrawl, not very fun. :(
How the heck does chrome nail polish chip less than 12 hours after being put on?!?! Dangit!! %^$#&@))!!!!!
Umm.... our school's senior volleyball teams are both at provincials, I think this is the first time in a few years that they have made it. Cool!!!! And last I heard, the boys had won their first set. Yippee!!!!
Ummmm........ and I guess that's it..... yeah. Kewl.

Recently...
I discovered I can get through an entire day in a city on only 3 1/2 hours of sleep (coffee is my friend), discovered I am a caffeine addict, discovered a few more reasons why I hate PMSing, learned the guitar chords for a favorite song, have yet to figure out why I couldn't fit all my music into one binder, discovered (again) that I hate physics class (srry Mr. H), am worried that I am almost flunking French, and am stumped as to why grade 10 students don't trick-or-treat while college students do. Sheesh...
Let's see....
Sunday: Went to see Paramedic live in concert at my church, which was fun. One of the guys goes to my church, so yeah... A few of my friends and I, the 'cool' people, were in the back of the sanctuary dancing to the music.. evidently I can't breakdance! lol
Monday: Nothing worth mentioning
Tuesday: I went trick-or-treating in a not-so-great Storm costume, which mainly sucked cuz I didn't have the right wig and had to make do with sparkly hairspray. However, it was pretty fun, got some good loot, now know what a "numb bum" feels lke, very weird!
Wednesday: My guitar teacher Jared taught me the chords for Sea of Faces, one of my favoritest Kutless songs ever. Sounds horrible when I play, but oh well, I'll learn!
Thursday: Talked about judgement at youth group, not much else. Oh yeah, Meadow got an adorable kitten, so cute!
Friday: Went to a senior girl's Sunday School overnighter at church, discovered why I don't like chick flicks (yeesh). Also got to perform a funny skit with Alicia and Alena at school for drama, really funny! I think Alex's group and James' groups were the only ones who came close to us!
Saturday: fell asleep at 3, had to wake up at 6:30 to go to calgary for the Santa Clause 3 premier... that is an ungodly hour, esp. on Saturday! Had an OK day in Calgary (that movie is worth a look, BTW).
(Not going to mention that crummy evening though... let's just say I hate feminine hormonal activities! Argh)
Sunday: Had exactly no kids in Sunday School, was living off of strong coffee, and barely talked to a somewhat cute male friend of mine, bummer. However, Mom got to come back for church, and I got to play with Dana's cutie of a baby, so all was well with the world.
And that is 'recent'. Kewl.

Some healthy competition...
So, today I was at a karate kid's tournament, was freaking out, but.... OK, I'll keep you in suspense for a while longer while I recount my day.
Woke up at 7 this morning (ugh), had a shower, got my lunch together, etc, etc. Got picked up by Sensei Dawn and Sempai James (in my class, BTW) and headed off to Delburne for the competition.
The tournament started at 10, I was entered in Kata, Kumite (sparring), and Team Kata. I got placed with some younger guys from another city for Team Kata, weren't any other teenage orange belts in my class!
I earned second place in Kata, would have done better in everything is I hadn't had to compete against this other orange belt, who took gold in everything. (He was pretty cute though! Don't worry Mom, I didn't get his name, just informed him I'll kick his butt (not literally) next year) I didn't get anything for kumite, but my team and I took another second in team kata.
So I leave with a trophy for kata, a medal for team kata, and a few sore muscles. Dawn and James give me a lift back home, but my folks are out in the city shopping, so they take me home with them. They need to round up some cows, so I get to help by riding a horse through the field.
Ya, read my other "horse adventure" post, you'll know that not all horses like me. This one held her breath while the saddle was getting cinched, so after 20 minutes (at least) of galloping across the field, it's sideways, and Dawn has to teach me the finer points of vaulting! However, that was my first time galloping a horse, she said I did incredibly well for a beginner.
Now I'm sore, don't wanna move, have hit the backspace key as many times as the actual letter keys, and am thinking it was soooooo worth it!
Next up: Provincials!!!!! Yahoo!

Owwww.....
Alright, before we get to the injury, I want you to envision your mother telling you: "Don't play with the knives, Johnny (or whatever your name may be), they are very sharp." Mommy knew what she was talking about!!
Anyways, I was slicing carrots for school snacks yesterday evening, I had one peeled, had the (big) knife over the carrot...
Ya know how carrots are round? Most round things roll very easily. This one was not an exception. (ouch)
So I've gouged the end of my left thumb, there's a lot of blood, but I get a Band-Aid on it, I think it's OK. HOWEVER, I look 20 seconds later, and there is blood all over my hand. That clues in my parents (and myself) that something is very wrong. So I get a paper towel on my hand, but it's already soaking through. Not good. I'm rinsing it off in the bathroom, but there's almost more blood than water going down the drain, and Mom is thinking "stitches". I, however, have issues with needles going into my skin on purpose!
I get more paper towel, and Dad (who doesn't like blood, BTW) drives me in to the emergency room. Ya know it's bad when... Anyways, I get a record made up at the hospital, since it's never been bad enough for me to go in, and we wait for the doctor. One of the nurses was kind enough to get an actual bandage on my hand for me, but it still hasn't stopped bleeding yet.
The doctor comes in, cleans up the cut, and informs me that I can't get stitches, I cut off so much skin that she won't be able to sew me up. That's a relief, since, as I mentioned, I don't like getting sewn up!
So I get a new bandage, a presure wrap, and I'm out of the hospital, with strict instructions not to get the bandage wet, or to take it off for another 2 days. Still gotta find a baggie and some duct tape so I can have a shower... yeesh.
At church today, I think I got asked a zillion times what I did to myself, got a few hitchiker jokes, and some help doing things, since I can't use my left hand. Trudy advised me to keep my hand elevated, something that's difficult since I use my hand a lot! It was pretty painful when Amy bumped it, but other than that, it went Ok.
Good side to doing this: I get sympathy, and I get out of dish detail! Yippee!!!!!!! Wonder if I'll get out of homework?...
Bad side: I can't do anything that involves little wrappers, it's hard hold things (including Dana's adorable baby, bummer)... ya never realize how useful thumbs are!
Now that I think about it, I also banged myself up on the van door getting into the said van yesterday, had a headache all day. Man, yesterday was Friday the 13th come late!
On the whole, don't do this, it hurts like heck!

KUTLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!
We got to see KUTLESS in concert last night, loved it! I got to go up to the mosh (mosh?) pit with a friend of mine, I was less than 30 metres from Jon Micah himself! I've still got a ringing in my ears from it, but it was worth it! We also got to hear a couple of other bands, I shall list them as follows:Traced Image: Meh, mediocre
Nifty: OK
Amanda Falk: OK
The Silent: Not recommended (no offense Silent fans!)
Friday's Cry: Really good
KUTLESS: Almost as good as on the CD!!!!!!
I LOVE KUTLESS!!!!!

Give me a bleeping break!
This is in Lynsey's words, people, and this should never have happened. Honestly, some freakin' people...
Hi!!! ^_^ I whish to tell you what happened to me on the 8th (Friday) I hope you can get through my headaching story
It stared as a normal day (the normal pushing, the normal shouting ext.). I was unlocking my locker when my mom came and gave me my calculator. (The calculator has a whole story itself but it not the point) That’s where my mom saw 2 boy fighting. One boy was shouting ‘I’m gonna to KILL you!!! I’m gonna knife you!!!’ then a small lady came broke them apart.
I didn’t notice this one bit at all. I get it was too normal or I was too depressed. Moving along.
In 3ed period I was called to the office. I did nothing wrong but I knew what it was for. (My mom phoned last night to report a bully in the school and they sad I was going to get a consoler and every thing was under control. But they did not inform my parents!! My mom had to phone or she (or me) would have no idea what was going on. And it took quite a bit to get the info out of them) So I when to the consoler’s office. The lady was Ms. Grows (funny name). And the lady (aaaaaaaaaaa…) she was sickinly sweet!!! (Ex. ‘so… how are you doing? How many pets do you have? How is this how that…) So I just when straight to business. I told her who was picking on me. ‘Oh, this is new. This has never happen…’ she said I said ‘No, this is not new to her. I’m just a new toy to her. I can tell by experience this before’ (which I have) ‘Oh… well… we’ll get this under control…’ it sounded like she memorized the book. (I might as well listened to a tape recording) So we started talking about my old school and I started to cry (I’m ashamed of crying)
I pulled myself together and went back to class at my own time (it was the middle 4th period now). As I was being told what to do and I broke down (I realy miss you guys). The teacher asked me if I wanted to go back to Ms. Grows. I sad ‘I’m fine!’ and slammed my hand on the table and walk out the door. But instead of going back to Ms. Grows I went outside to walk around the school (I was mad now).
After blowing off some steam I came back to yell at Ms Grows. Now this is the funny part. Just as I was going to through door Ms Grows was coming out to look for me (so me meet face to face). At the same time a poor guy wants outside while I’m blowing up yelling, crying at Ms Grows and Ms Grows is trying to get me inside. The guy finely gets my attention. I ask him ‘what?’ for he was mumbling something. ‘c-can… I ge…’ ‘yes, yes, yes’ waving hand for him to go
Poor guy (at lest I got a highlight of the day)
So I told Ms Grows ‘I want to go home’ I was too upset to go back to class. We went to her office to get a phone but the phone was ‘held up’ and we had to wait int’l one phone line was free. As I waited, Ms. Grows was rattling on and on about how thing are going to get fixed and the wonderful program they have (I think she wanted me to change my mind in phoning home). Right now I just had it so I told her: ‘You can stop talking now’ and I sad it very politely. So I basically told he to shut up and she can’t reprehend me. The only thing she cud do was burn her eyes into me in the dead silence. So she sent me the main office to use their phone (wonder why @_@)
So I finely got the phone. And told my mom to pick me up. Then the office lady she said to hand the phone over so they can tell my mom what happened (which they didn’t). So complained more to phone my mom again. Final I got my mom to come. I told her everything for she still had no idea what was going on.
So she decide to put me in another school. We got a tour of the school and the first thing I saw when we went into the school was 3 girls outside class (I think they were doing a group project). And they wear smiling and giggling and ask where we where going. And the school itself had such a warm feeling (almost like home). At the end of next week we will hopefully get accepted into the new school.
And I think this was a Roman Catholic school or something like that! Honestly, the kind of ****** people who write up the school counselour's programs! Sheesh! Now I think poor Lynsey is permenantly scarred from all guidance counselours!!!!
Some morons... pardon me while I spaz out....

Really want to have a good cry now!
As the title says, I had a really crappy day today, need a cry, bear with me here.
As most of you know, I auditioned for His Singers (the high school choir) last week. I've been wanting to get in for 2 years, everyone says I'm a good singer, I think I have a darn good chance of getting in.
The first thing I do when I get back from the O with Nina is check out the list of who made it into His Singers.
I wasn't on the list.
Nina had to push me upstairs and try to keep me focused on anything but the list. I owe her big time for trying, but it didn't help matters much when I saw everyone looking to see who made it in or not. Jenny got in, I know I should be happy that at least one of my friends made it in, but I nearly cried.
A big thing that surprised me was the fact that Tom auditioned, but didn't get in, which is weird, since they never have enough guys, thought they'd be desperate. (No offense meant Tom!)
I discovered that James is actually a pretty decent guy, for being a jerk in karate, cuz I was talking to Haley about the His Singers, mentioning that I wanted to cry, and after the initial "It's only His Singers" from him, and me nearly blowing up at him for that, he was actually sympathectic, which is surprising, judging from the annoyance level yesterday at karate.
Anyways, I think I did really badly on my French test this afternoon, I was thinking about not making it into His Singers. Alena gave me sympathy today during drama class, I just feel like such a wreck, and incredibly self-centred, thinking about myself all afternoon. My apologies to all my friends who understood, esp. Jenny, I luv you guys!!!
Now I don't have to choose between H.S. and guitar lessons this year, there's always next year... but why didn't I make it in this year?! Why?!?! (sorry, feeling sorry for myself again)
I'll shut up now, and give the rest of you a break from my pity party.

This week...
Oi yoi yoi. That's about it in a nutshell. Soo tired.... yeesh. Let's see, where do I start?
Monday: Mom left for Westjet school in Calgary, we miss her! BTW, she's doing good in class, pray for her Linden Alliance! Later on, I went to the garage and found a box of stuff from the old trailer that I forgot I had, found some cool hair clippies and (get this) : my old beanie! yay! Then I had to watch my cousins that afternoon, have practically disowned one of them, oh well.
Tuesday: More school, but I had my first karate lesson in a month after school ,which was good.... we have a lot of new white belts! However, there is always room for more... hint hint Meadow! lol.... Lynsey, come back! We need more sempai!
Wednesday: I had a His Singers audition after school, I think I did OK, hope I get in! Jen, Chelsea, Haley and Tom all tried out to, if we do get in, we'll have friends! (Dave, ya should have tried out! Oh well)
Thursday: Karate. Need I say more? Oh yeah, we got to watch Canadian Bacon in soc that day.... *rools eyes* (my apologies to any Americans reading my mind via the Internet)
Friday: Went to go see Mom after school, she's really tired but loves it, she got to teach us the WestJet song... lol!!! I can't repeat it on the Internet for fear of humiliation, but it was funny! Got a replacement watch for my old one, which died on Monday... it looks very cool!
Oh yeah, can't forget to mention watching LOTR in French class... Why didn't they just teach the origional actors to speak French?!?! Galadriel's voice is done by a guy in the beginning of the movie! Argh!
Oh yeahhhhhh..... Friday I bashed my nose on a textbook, almost got my fingers slammed in my locker, got the hiccups in teh worst way at the O, and tripped going back upstairs at school, totally losing all semblance of sanity then... good grief! (Don't worry Nina and Dave, I think i've sufficiently recovered since then...) Sheesh, I think those were my injuries for most of the summer!
Saturday (otherwise known as Today): We are over at Grandma's for an overnighter while Dad helps Cam combine the fields. How fun.
Now I get to prepare for next week.... *groan* Wish me luck with His Singers!

Don't try this at home.....
Sheesh, the first week of school (not even a full week either!), and the injuries are starting up again! Good grief...
Hmm, do I tell you the made-up story of me getting mugged by Muhammed Ali or do I tell the true but embarassing story..... OK, quit guilt tripping me, I'll be honest!
I was cleaning out my dad's car yesterday, just for something nice, since it was his birthday yesterday, I think he'll disown me if I mention his age though. Anyways, I was getting out of the driver's door, didn't look where I was going....
and konked myself just underneath my left eye, hard enough to break the skin. Not a pleasant experience, let me tell ya. I mean. there are few things in life that have enough pain to make my cry at all. One is lip and eyebrow waxing, and then the tears are just from the shock. The other is getting a near-black eye. I mean, I just sat back down, thought some very nasty words at the door, and let a few fat ones out, it hurt so bad. (The very nasty words would have come anyways if I had stubbed my toe, I was refering to the tears.)
About 10 minutes later, I glance in the rear-view mirror, and my face near my eye is all puffy, and I could see a cut where the door it my head. That freaks me out somewhat, so I go out to seek Dad's opinion, and he sends me to the house for an icepack and Mom's help. Ya know, in hindsight, if I had wanted an excuse to get sympathy at school, I should have laid of the ice, but oh well, I got the cut, might be a good conversation opener, lol.
Dad says I hit the door so hard, I'm gonna have a doozy of a shiner tomorrow, Mom says there hasn't been enough discolouration so I'll be fine. Yeeeaaaaaaaah..... sure hurts if I touch it though! Maybe I will get a black eye from this...
Hope I don't get another one before school pictures, that'd be bad!

And so it begins...
Today was the first day of senior high for me today at PCA, and as is evident, I survived the first day, I think that's a good sign. I now pity all those who have gone before me in the transition from Junior to Senior high.
It started with Mom waking me up at 6:30 a.m. which, knowing me, is not the wisest thing ti be doing at any time of year. However, she was bringing an offering of hot coffee, so all was forgiven. Ya know, coffee and some good, loud headbanging music first thing in the morning, it can actually get me beyond unconsiousness, which is a good thing I guess... Then, of course, there was the traditional first-day-of-school-ritual-of-taking-a-picture-with-the-bus-coming-down-the-road. Whoopee.
Then, when we got to school, I had to give the big-cousin talk to Matt, who was is your standard Grade 8 rookie, and find me sceduele, and make my way up to Mr. D's room for 10.1 Soc, on the 3 floor... Then for 2 periods, I had to keep a backpack, and shopping baggie, and a binder somewhere near my desk without having them kicked across the room. THEN we went to homeroom, where we were all assinged lockers about as wide as your average CD tower... sheesh. Seriously, I can barely fit my backpack in there! Argh...
Then for 4 periods, with an hour-long stop in between, I had Mr. H for science 10.1 and French 10. I don't believe it, which teacher gives out homework on the first day of school?!?!
Then I got Miss. P for Drama last two periods, which was fun, since I love drama class and I had Miss. P for the drama production Much Ado About Nothing in grade 8. We had to act out fairy tales, I think the Star Wars version of Peter Pan was my favorite, after our Matrix version of the 3 little pigs.
And then next term I get English, Bible/Computers, Phys-Ed, and pure Math, that'll be interesting... if I survive highschool that long! Yeesh...

Not my brightest idea....
So I arranged to go over to a friends house yesterday after church, planning on drooling over their kittens, burning any and all Oilers propraganda that we could find (shoot! I knew we forgot to do something!) and messing around with the band instruments. Yes, we got most of that done. BUT....
My friends have a few horses, a Tennesse Walker named Sarah, a small pony named Rosie, and her yearling 'it', Rocky. I have ridden Rosie before, on numerous occasions, so Jody and I decide that she needs exercise, she's fatter than normal, lets go for a few rides.
Whoops.
Amy was taking her turn on the pony, and Jody wanted to practice getting her into the trailer, so Amy decided to stay on the horse, for the sheer joy of it. Rosie went in OK, but the jump in made Amy lose her balance and take a small tumble/jump of the horse. That should have warned me that riding was a bad idea that day, but...
Keep in mind, this is a short, fat pony that I have ridden several times before, all bareback riding, so I'm used (in its loosest term) to her. She is stubborn, but she has never been able to dump me before, this should be a cakewalk. Wrongo.
I was riding her at a trot next to the concrete driveway, away from the corral, but she wanted her friends, and she was tired of being riden, so she jumped of the bank onto the driveway, making me lose my balance, then crossed over and started trotting back home, with me on the side next to the electric fence. Not an ideal situation. Imagine: Me, hanging on to the horse's neck for dear life, trying to stay away from the fence, while Jody and Amy are yelling for me to jump off.
Ponys. Argh.
I finally land on my feet a few inches away from the fence, very cheesed off at the darn pony, but agree with the girls that I have to get back on. So what do we do? We lead the pony to the porch for me to get up from the step.
Again, whoops.
Just as I get my leg over her back, she backs away, and I land on my rear on the concrete, feeling incredibly sore! Darn pony...
I finally get back on the horse, than Amy gets a ride, but by now we are both so cheesed at Rosie that we just but her away, then go inside and change, cause Rosie wasn't sweating much, just enough for us to get a ton of mud and hair on our jeans. Argh.
This will be a decent summer-story tale at school, I know KJ and Dad were entertained by that story! Grr. I haven't had an injury of the month all summer (besides needing my own personal massager after yardwork on Saturday, but that doesn't count), but now I can say that I am a real horseperson twice over now.
Yippee.

Pirates of the Caribbean!
Mom and I went to go see Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest last Friday
It was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo good, much darker than the first one, but still, incredibly good. I mean, it's Jack Sparrow *cheer* and Will Turner *sigh*, how bad can it get? It was really good, so if anyone were to ask my opinion, which I note they're not, (love LOTR too!) I would highly recommend that they watch it.
OK, if this YouTube video that I have attempted to blog works, you will experience a near-perfect combination of the Pirates who don't do Anything (I love Reliant K!) and POTC.
And since I'm too lazy to figure out how the heck I blogged that other Ask A Ninja video: watch this (keep in mind, that is just one ninja's opinion, not nesiserily accurate either (argh! can't type today!). I, personally, have not met anyone who thought the second one was a waste of money)
Yeah, it's a good movie, totally open for #3.
Off topic, I know, but: what the heck is the legend of Davy Jones?

Sigh.....
So two of my best friends have moved away, and I'm already wondering how the heck I am going to get through next year in school without them. They've only been gone a short time, one not even a week, and I already feel as if 2/100 (alright, Mr. Picky, 1/50!) of me is gone (as you can see, I have a bunch of friends, but those two were really close).
Tina left a couple of weeks ago to make the rounds in Quebec (you heard me, Quebec) before heading back to Peru with her folks. I was lucky enough to have her in my homeroom, as well as most of my other classes, during Grade 9. We were almost always partners, esp. in science class, where partners were normally a must, and would usually be the one the other phoned if one of us forgot our homework assingment. Tina said she might come back for grade 12 to graduate with us, I informed her she had to at least come up and visit! I think everyone my our class misses her.
Then we get to 'Cupgirl', who was in a grade below me, which is odd, since she is at least half a year older than I am (which isn't too difficult I guess, since I'm young for my grade anyways. Devon and Tasha have to suffer junior high one more year as well, and they're both older than me to, strange). She was the mainest source of prank ideas/helpers (sorry J and Becky F), while I supplied most of the victims (Dave.... your not reading this, are you?!), showed me the wonders of Youtube, esp the Ask A Ninja site, introduced me to Final Fantasy II (which, by the way, I have yet to figure out), and was one of the first members of my (somewhat) large adopted fambly, (which, incidently, includes Paula, Meadow, and Spoke, with others.) as well as most of her family, still working on Little Sister #1.
She left a couple of days ago with her mom for Lethbridge, I've informed her that she has to come back and visit us at least once a month, we'll miss her too much otherwise. Besides, I need more water balloons! (Alright, none of you saw that last little remark)
And then Kelly and Amber, along with their parents and little siblings, are moving to Australia as missionaries, absolutley no word on when they'll be back, but we ordered Kelly at a 'surprise' going away party for him that they had to come back, no ifs, ands, or buts.
Sheesh, it seems as if all my friends are moving away! What am I going to do? Not liking this at all.... argh. Well, if they get around to reading this.... you are absolutley forbidden to get yourself killed without seeing me first!
Ya heard that phrase "Ya never know what you've got til it's gone"? (That, for those who are wondering, I got that from a Toby Mac song) I'm feeling the message of that line right now!
At least I still have J, and Beca, and Becky, and KJ, and Meadow........ what would I do without you guys?!

Man, I love summer!
Summer: the season of the year when young girls (like myself) can experience stampedes, parades, natural tanning, and attempt landing some hot guys.
All right, that may not be what it says in the dictionary, but that's my definition! On Wednesday we got up at 5:30 to get to the Calgary Stampede, just to insure we would get there in time for the free entry on Kids Day. Normally it only takes 1 1/2 hours to get to Calgary, but since everyone (and I do mean everyone, more or less) wanted the free entry, we were in traffic for 2 1/2 hours!!!!!!!! My parents have decided that is the last time we do Kid's Day!!!!
Other than that, we had a lot of fun, going to the Superdogz, the Rodeo X, and then the Bell Pavilion for the rodeo and chuckwagon coverage that airs on TV... hey, did anyone see me? Green tank top, near the back? On Wednesday night? Oh well, I WAS ON TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (And this ain't the first time either! I'm famous! Must be my TV looks.... The camera loves me! And no comments about "Canada's Most Wanted", I want my freedom for a few more years!)
We didn't get back til after midnight, which was bad in this situation, cuz we had to get up again at 6 to go to High River, and then when we got back we had friends over til 11, and I haven't recoverd yet, sooooo tired must sleep *yawn*
Anyways, today 3Bumps had their annual parade day, which I think is the best, how many other parades do you know of that throw tons of candy to everyone? I think even my dad got some! Goes to show ya, your never too old for candy-throwing parades!
By the way Paula... I mean 'Jack Sparrow's girlfriend'.... loved the outfit!
Terror #1 was on a float with the U12 soccer team, since they won provincial gold, and will now be heading to the Alberta Cup (Or is it the City Divisionals? Dave seems to think there is no Alberta Cup, weird), so I was in charge of rounding up loot for him, that was cool. (until the lacrosse team went by, there are people that I really don't get along with on the team, and they were all in the parade. If I hear 1 word about me acting like a 10 year old from Micah next year I'm gonna skin him) Kinda surprised that the karate club didn't have a float, would have liked to have been on it, but oh well, maybe next year.
Haven't gotten around to the cute guys yet, although there were a couple of very cute guys at Stampede... they were just a little old for me... maybe in their early 20's.... bummer, but they were cute. The military had brought a bunch of guns and tanks with them for their exhibit this year, Dad was checking out some of them, and he was mentioning that no guy would come on the property if word got out he had one of those, very happy he doesn't!
Only the 15th of July, and I've already gotten some of my summer agenda done. Yay! Now, it's a bummer I can't do camp this year (grr), but I can hang out with Cupgirl and Tina before they leave, hang out with Beca, Becky, and Jordan after they leave, maybe get in time with Jewel, Jenny and Erin, gotta chill with Devon and Tom some.... lol!

World Cup!!!!
After 2 hours of actual play, extra time, and watching a dramatic shoot-out (Gah, I hate those!!!), I am pleased to say THE WORLD CUP IS ITALY'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!! *ahem* It wasn't an easy win though, do the extra time and shoot-out tell ya anything?!
It started with one of the French players (or was he Italian? No, I think it was a French guy) getting injured in the first minute (how is that possible?) of the game, and he wasn't the only one who went off on account of injury. There were numerous leg injuries, hamstrings, shoulder injuries, and at least one head-blow, not to mention a ton of windings and a head-butt in the chest that recieved a red card for a French player. (Zidane, you twit...)
And they wonder why I don't play soccer... I think that one ball I took on the nose in Grade 2 had something to do with it! To this day I still can't head a ball at all! Anyways, back to the World Cup.
France scored within the first 5 minutes, then Italy got a point in the first 11. And it stayed like that all the way through the rest of the actual game time and the added 30 minutes, if you don't count the Italian goal that was called for an offside, dangit *grrr*
THEN we got into the shoot-out.
Have I mentioned I HATE shootouts?!?! This was the only 'good' one (by 'good' I mean that my favorite team won the game) that I had seen the entire World Cup month, Italy winning by a total score of 6-4. Yay!
Now I get to rub it in to Spoke and Paula! Hehe! Although, ya gotta agree, France was really good, they had to be to beat Brazil!
So Annacond and I didn't get to see Argentina and Brazil play, but we still got to watch a pretty good game, despite the fact it was played by lesser teams (no offense meant to any die-hard Italy or France fans)
Ironicaly, Terror #1 was playing his provincials this weekend, word comes from Dad that his team won both matches today. So now in a couple of weeks they go for the Alberta Cup, possibly playing my cousin's team. That I would like to watch!
Anyways...... GO ITALY!!!!! (until next world cup then.....
GO ENGLAND GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and if they go out, then
GO ARGENTINA!!!!!!!!!
and if they go out to, then
GO BRAZIL!!!!
All in all, quite happy with the way this World Cup turned out, yay!! Go Italy!!!!

Double time!
Yes, I know 2 posts in one is really weird, but I'm too lazy to make two seperate posts, and I have two subjects to post about, so....
PART ONE: SCHOOL'S OUT!!!!!!!
Yippee!!!! Out of school for the summer! And next year, High School!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!! It's annoying, Tina and 'Cupgirl' are both moving away, so that's annoying, but J and Becky the (non blogger) are staying, and I think Beca (the blogger) might be coming, so that's good.
The exams I could have done without, including the grade 9 provincials, but oh well, I did good. However........... I MISSED HONOUR ROLE BY A STINKIN' .75%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *ahem* Guess I'll get it next year though.
Cupgirl, Becky, J, and myself were planning to water-balloon Mike for some rumours that he said earlier this year, and I was planning on getting Cupgirl back for soem pretty painful burns, but the girls were genious enough to drop the balloons, and the two that I chucked at Cupgirl both bounced off her, got so mad!! Gotta get Cupgirl back before she moves, guess I'll get Mike next year.
Since it was exams, the teachers let us off with the dress code (that being no short shorts, tank tops, or shredded jeans), and I got away with my fav. outfits. Some other people, on the other hand........ Tom, bright orange Hawiian shorts and highlighter-yellow T-shirt do not go together at all!!!!! Esp on you! Orange is SO not your colour. (Meh, bright orange shorts don't go with anything! Tsk-tsk)
Oh yeah, can't forget to mention Calaway Park on Wednesday. Roller coasters.... haha!!
PART TWO: NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Before I get to the body of Part 2, let us have a moment of silence for the soccer teams of England and Argentina.....
I now will badness to the Portuguese and German soccer teams, they took out my two favs!!!!! *growl* NO soccer game should end in a shoot-out, for Pete's sake, it's a team sport!!! Argh!!!
This leaves me with a problem: Do I A) cheer for Brazil and risk Spoke's wrath/humiliation by Tom and Dave or B) find a new team to cheer for? I mean, I REFUSE to cheer for the States, call me racist all you please, BUT....... I guess I'll cheer for Italy now, just a random team that I picked out of the blue.... As long as Brazil doesn't win this time, let's throw in some variety!!!
And so summer break begins. Oh joy.

Canoeing (?), Part 2
If you will note the question mark in the title, and are wondering why the heck it's there, we didn't do the canoeing part of the trip, since the river was flooded. Which has me confused, since Darcy and Lil Justin said it was fine. (There were two Justins there, the one in my class, and Lil Justin, just so you don't get the two confused.) Meh, with our luck, we probably would have jinxed it. Oh well.
We got the the Bleriot Ferry campground around 5-ish, and started setting up our tents. Stephanie had brought a tent big enough for 10 people, which was funny, since there were only 4 ladies on the trip!!! No crowding worries here!!! I think it was Levi, Cam, Stephen, and Zach who had set up a tarp shelter on a picnic table, they regreted it later on! But we'll get to that later.
Oh yeah, Cam sliced his thumb trying to get his knife open, it was deep enough that Mrs. C had to take him in for stitches.
Dinner was sloppy joes, with the buns having been swimming (had to use something other than red!) in butter during frying. But it was still really good, new fav. recipie for sloppy joes! (No offence meant, Annacond). Pretty good, for being James's cooking. Darcy and J. Jr showed up in time to eat the leftovers.
Kolton showed up around 8, while we were playing archery golf. He brought his guitar, and I got a short lesson from him. (Man, he's almost as good as the guys from church!!! (almost)) Amanda thinks we were hitting on each other, but I think she was just jealous. Myself, I don't even like Kolton that much!
The rain and wind started around 9:30, and stink, it was cold!! (Tom, you cursed the trip, with your wanting rain! Dangit!) The wind was blowing all the rain into the guy's tarp, so they had to bunk with the other guys. About half of us crowded around the fire or on the bus, but either way, we were always pigging out on junk food. When we were in the bus, we were all singing praise/worship songs Really Loudly, the PCA Junior High way!!! I think the guys were making the bus bounce with all the jumping that was going on!!! It got annoying though, when Zach and Big Justin started pushing each other onto me and Amanda.
We all stayed up til about midnight to wait for Kolton's dad to pick him up, since he was going to be dirt-biking or something like that today. James offered to stay out all night with him, but we all wanted an excuse to stay up even later! THEN, after Kolton left, we ran back out to the tents in the rain, and after fastening screens, changing, and digging out extra blankies, we didn't sleep til 1! (Actually, James said that Matt, Zach, and Levi kept him up til 2. He also accused us ladies of talking, but I was mostly asleep, how could I be talking?!) The majority of us woke up at 7, which was semi-annoying, with everything in the tents still anywhere from semi-damp to drenched. I rediscovered why I never sleep on wet hair if I can help it, my 'do the next morning was... um.... interesting, to say the least!!!
While most of us were packing the tents, the guys (including Cam, who had returned from the hospital by now with 5 stitches in his thumb) all went out gopher hunting with the archery equipment that we had brought from the school, and came back with one dead gopher. Big Justin was annoyed that he couldn't shoot the little rabbit that had been hopping around since we got to the campsite. Mrs C was kinda grossed out by the gopher, but Mr Z was impressed! ( I think he was more impressed that they hadn't shot each other in the proccess!)
Around 12, we got to Horsethief Canyon, where we were told to find all the little Post-It notes that Mr Z had hidden. Micah L, Micah A and I gave up around the 6th note, with only 3 left. We had to climb all over the canyon, across the stream multiple times, landed on a couple of cacti (owie), landed on a lot more evergreen and rocks (more owie), and discovered the hard way that Badlands rock, after a rainstorm, has about as much grip in it as half-melted butter. The term Mr. Z used was "greasy", and he wasn't that far off!!! It was pure nastiness, and I think I wrecked my jeans, and came darn close to ruining my cool skater shoes, my sweater, and one of my knives. Oh well, I survived (but barely). (Ya know, the Micah's, as well as Big Justin's group, said they saw a hawk circling over me while I was climbing the last hill. Weird.) And there was more food after we found our way back to the bus, which was good.
And that, in brief, is an Outdoor Ed 'canoe' trip. Whoopie joy.
(Oh yeah, in case I forgot to mention... I'm going into Grade 10 next month! Yay!!!! Now I have exams for most of next week, but oh well.... Summer's coming soon!!!! And we got our yearbooks yesterday... very cool!!!!)

Canoeing, part 1
Today in Outdoor Ed class (yes, I swear it's a very cursed class, *makes face*) we went down to Frog's Gap for canoeing practice. Evidentley I can't steer a canoe, and I'm not trusted in the front of the canoes with a paddle, so for the most part I just sat on the floor of the canoe in the middle. I made the very bad mistake of being in the same canoe as Trevor and Ridge, not doing that again!!! (We'll get to that later)
We took the Sabres bus (NOT the Buffalo hockey team, the school sports team) to Frog's Gap, but the emergency window on one side consantly opens if someone leans on it, I don't think Levi or Amanda will make that mistake again without hanging on for dear life to a seat!! Surprising no one's died yet from that thing.... come to think of it, it was giving us grief on the way to Willow Creek, that and the rear emergency door. Sheesh.
Anyways, we were supposed to be working on our J-strokes, but Sean, Zach and Stephen's canoe was within 30 feet of us, and I guess temptation was just too much for the guys. (As a note, I had absolutley nothing to do with this, I was just a helpless passenger in the canoe) They started moving our canoe faster, and faster, until we were going really fast, and rammed into their canoe. Now, that wouldn't have been so bad, if Jesse, Cam, and Levi hadn't had their canoe on the other side of the intended target. The 'peanut-butter' canoe (ya heard of PB sandwiches? Then ya know what I'm talking about. I think we were 'bread-slice 1') got sandwiched, and got flipped over!!! (Happy to say no one go hurt)
THEN Stephen jumped practically from the PB canoe onto Ridge's lap, Zach got a ride with Jesse until he jumped back in to get the then-sunken canoe out, and Sean climbed on right in front of me, leaving behind him a huge puddle. And since we still had another half-hour of class left, and the boys didn't trust me on a seat with a paddle, I had to sit in the puddle for another 30 minutes!!!!!!!
Next time, I am going to bring an extra pair of jeans, I had to wear my gym shorts for the rest of the day, AFTER riding back to school on a wet butt. Honestly, it looked as if I'd gone with a very full bladder!!! Waist downwards, I was totally soaked. AND the school has things against people wearing gym clothes during classes
THEN (I hear you all, your thinking "uh-oh") when we pulled up to try and park the canoe, the guy's steering went wonky, and we were perpendicular (wow. big word! lol) to the backsides of the other canoes. So, being the kindly gentleman that he is *snorts* Ridge jumped out onto another canoe, then Trevor jumped onto another canoe, and I got left in the floating puddle, going back out to the middle of the lake!!! Remember, the guys didn't trust me with a paddle, so I was stranded!
James ended up having to hand me a paddle so I could get back, and he and Trevor had to hold the boat for me to get out. Very embarrassing. I know I'm going to look back on this in 6 months and laugh til I pass out, but....
I'm not sure how it happened, but I think Levi fell out of his canoe and got absolutley soaked after taking a canoe out by himself with only one paddle, and getting knocked off by Jesse or Cam. Ya know, I think Justin is the only one who got out perfectly dry. (the wuss...)
And now I get to do this all over again on Saturday, unless the trip gets postponed from the weather forecast. Whoop-dee-do-dah.
Ya know, if this wasn't my injury of the week, it came close enough to being that!!! Like I said, Outdoor Ed is a cursed class!!!!
So yes Meadow, that's what the weird junior-high students were doing today. Welcome to the PCA Outdoor Ed class. :P

Mission Trip!!!!!!
I just got back last night from my first-and-easily-not-the-last mission trip. Our mission (no pun intended, I think) was to clean up the forest around Willow Creek, at an old ranger station that Blue Bronna had purchased as an extention on the present camp. Mr. Z informed us that we were going to be roughing it to the max, the packing list said to bring our own toilet paper, long johns (which I do not possess), and be braced for snow. Whoop-de-doo. I'm happy Tina, Lynsey, Ashley, Cassy, Jenna, and Staci came on the trip too, made it that much more fun.
We stopped in Black Diamond for slushies and lunch. (Dude, show me a black diamond, and I'll show you a cheese company.) Matt and I were incredibly ticked off that there were only 2 slushie flavours, Coke and orange. Myself, I prefer Crush bubble gum or Lime flavours, but those are Pepsi flavours, I guess. At least Black Diamond had a Subway...
When we got to Willow Creek, we got straight to a tour of the place, and were informed that we ladies (you heard me, ladies) were going to stay in the actual ranger house, the boys were stuck with the kitchen. Evidently, we didn't need the toilet paper after all, seeing as there was plumbing. Kolton was somewhat disappointed, though, saying something along the lines of "But I wanted to dig a hole!" Other than that, everyone was happy that there were bathrooms, except for those who wanted to really rough it.
The vast majority of my chores were loading up dead trees/branches into a quad's trailer, riding the not-very-secure quad trailer to the junk piles, unloading the branches, and riding the bumpy way back to the woods. That was only incredibly fun! Some of the other more 'delicate' females were helping Mrs. C. clean the buildings, I decided that I could be happier in the woods. Day 2, we loaded some firewood into the back of a truck and stacked that, too. Riding on the back of trucks is fun....
Through all that, I learned that cotton work gloves near barbed wire and prickly branches are not very smart choices. Owie. :S
After dinner, we climbed up this huge hill, nearly causing rockslides all the way up. We were somewhat annoyed to find that there was a grassy, soft side we could have gone up, dangit. But the rocks were somewhat fun. I was ashamed to admit, for the first time in my life, that I am a little scared of heights, dangit again. But it was fun rolling down the hill, and having Cassy and Staci using the cameras to film themselves rolling down. The videos are incredibly funny!!!!
Me thinks Cassy was having too much fun with the digital cameras during the entire trip. Me also thinks that Kolton must have serious things against Justin, judging from the way they were trying to kill each other the entire trip. Amazing to find they're still alive, lol. Lynsey's birthday was on Day 1, Tina's was on Day 2. (Can't believe we forgot to sing Happy Birthday to them... shoot. *shrug* Oh well.)
After devotionals (at midnight!!!!), we ladies went straight to bed, but the guys stayed up till 2:40, eating and sumo wrestling. (You heard me again, sumo wrestling) We all slept in til at least 9 the next morning, some of us even later, then some of us females (names are changed to protect the innocent) tried to squirt-gun the guys, but Steve the counseller woke up and spoiled our plans. So we were stuck making breakfast.
I think Mr. Z has learned how not to make 1 pancake per pan, esp. when said pancake is an inch thick. That one ended up looking like burned scrambled eggs, nasty. No one would eat it, so I think we left it for the coyotes. (In a garbage baggie, don't worry)
A lot of what we learned was about leadership training, I think it really helped me out. I think that I will want to go on the next PCA mission trip, possibly to Mexico or Brazil. That would be really fun. It could also help with my volunteering this summer with the little kids.
Pics of the trip may follow later, depending on if Tina and Cassy send them to me.

Catchin' up on posting....
Due to requests worded as orders to make a new post, for cryin' out loud (sorry, had to add that!) I decided to mention what I did in my first couple of weeks as an orange belt:
1. Last night at youth group.... *bursts into laughter at the memory* JL made the mistake of coming to youth last night with DD, don't think he's going to come again for a loooooong time!!!! We went over to the campus for ice cream at the O, and one of the guys in the ASCI band competition pulled the fire alarm, watching the fire trucks go to the RDAC was fun. (At least, I think it was the RDAC.) THEN after we got back to Spoke's, we were playing "Stretch", basically Twister with a knife. Not only did JW accidentley get the knife on his leg, J, D and I were in some, lets say, very uncomfortable positions!!! It got really funny when JL and D started "hugging"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. I got accepted into the Blue Boronna missions trip in about two weeks!!! Two nights in the wilderness, freezing our butts off, eating from cans, setting the forest on fire, sleeping with mice, and doing a lot of work...... Sounds like fun!!!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!!! *ahem* Guess this'll be good practice for the Outdoor Ed canoe trip next month. (By the way Spoke, thanx for getting that letter of refrence done for me! )
3. Umm...... Dad left yesterday for California, we got out of school early to drive him to the airport. He'll be back on Monday, um, and.... yeah. Since he'll be gone over Mother's Day, he arranged for flowers to be dropped off yesterday at our place for Mom. So sweet...
4. I think TL is somewhat PO'd at me, since I waterbombed him last week. That wouldn't have been so bad, if I hadn't forgotten that he had new shoes on. That was definetley not one of my smarter decisions. I hope he's forgotten by the time he gets back from Ontario...
5. I got asked to watch this very cute guy's soccer game, but he was out of town for the game, so I cldn't go, dangit.
6. I sunburned my shoulders Really Badly last week, and when people weren't giving me sympathy, they were slappin the burns. I am so going to get revnege on some people!!!!
7. And this week I somehow got various scrapes and bruises, no idea how the stink I got most of them. Odd.
8. Ummm.......... Crap, I know I did something else this week....... umm....
9. I have decided that the next person to open my locker dies twice. A very painful way. Kid you not. And if those certain people are reading this, you know who you are. (Either that, or I'll just beat the crap out of them. Like I said, I don't follw the Dojo Kun perfectly!!!)

Up a new belt!!!!
There is supposed to be a picture of the Dojo Kun up here, which every self-respecting karateka, Sempai, Sensei, and Master lives by, but I am having some problems with trying to get the picture from Google up here, dangit (and pardon my language), so just use your imaginations. Seek perfection of Character, Be Faithful, Endeavour, Respect Others, and Refrain from Violent Behaviour.
So happy!!!!! I just earned my orange (yes, orange) belt in karate the other day! Yes, believe it or not, I have just become a little bit more lethal, a little closer to my black belt (by the way that colour is supposed to be black, but with my template.....) , and one more step closer to the rank of Master. So don't anybody try ticking me off!! So much to learn!!!! A whole new kata, whole new series of moves to learn, more stuff that I'll need when I get my green belt..... lol.
The seminar that we had with Sensei J (NOT Sempai J) was really tiring, with the majority of about 45 students sweating in the first 15 minutes of class, while none of us (minus Sensei D and the higher sempai) are used to. Another ex-yellow belt, DE, actually had to sit out the last 5 minutes of class, but managed to come back on for the grading. My dad was watching us spar for the grading half, and he was worried that we were going to hit each other and land in the ER, since we were punching really hard and we both were tired, and......
But I'm happy to say that no one died, and everyone who graded passed to their next belt. I don't think that we have anymore white belts in our dojo anymore!!! (Or we won't, until I coax, bribe, or forcebly encourage some people to join. Hmm.....)
Next grading's in July, haven't decided yet if I'm going to grade then or not for my green belt.
And for those of you who have read some older posts, two days ago I got my injuries of the last two weeks within the space of a minute playing soccer. I was turning around when JS (not Sensei OR sempai) crashed really hard into me like a linebacker, knocking me over. So I told her to get me back up, and less than a minute later I saw a ball coming towards me, and....
Ya know the cartoons when the guy tries to hit the ball but misses and lands on his butt? The only difference was that I hit the ball! That was somewhat painful!!
And then yesterday I had my feet stepped on twice (Really smart, Canadiangirl, you dummy, to forget your shoes at home and wear sandals that day. Tsk tsk) and got a soccer ball in the back of my head, which also was somewhat painful. Ouch. Now that I'm all caught up on my injuries for the next couple weeks....
Anyways, if you were not on my good side before the grading, then BEWARE!!!!! Muahahahahahaha! *ahem*

*ahem*

Random things that have happened since my last post
Dude, it's Friday and I didn't injure myself at all this week!!!! Yay!!!!!! OK, that's not entirely true, I tripped over myself running to Outdoor Ed class (I swear, that class is cursed!!!) and made a very graceful fall in front of the rest of the class, bumping my knees and hands. And skinned my knee on the floor of the RDAC trying to recover a dodgeball. (By the way T, join the enemy team next time again and I may do something bad to you) ANYWAYS......
Crap, now I've probably just jinxed my good luck with the injuries (or lack of) this week. Since I have to cook dinner tonight for youth group potluck, I'm probably going to burn myself or cut myself open again. Hmm....
It took forever, but little bro #1 finally let me attmept burning his new Kutless CD, Hearts of the Innocent, and what happens?!?!?!?! I finally get my first copy of a Kutless disc, and, like my burn version of AudioA Lift, IT SKIPS ON MY CD PLAYER!!!!! *cusses* And carrying around my Discman, which only works every other odd day, to listen to my tunes is annoying, and I can't afford MP3 batteries. But I'm desperate to hear Kutless, so as I type this, my Discman is strapped to my waist, and hasn't skipped more than twice, Whereas, my CD player.....
Yep, remind me that I gotta get a new CD player. Argh.
What else did I do this week? Practiced for the grading, since I am trying to get my orange belt. Was informed that while my camae (or some other Japenese word like that) is good, I need to perfect my kata if I want to pass. With my friend LM in grade 8, bought AS, a grade 12 student, as a slave for a whole day when spring break ends. Thought of some things that I can get said slave to do for me, such as cleaning my disasterous locker out. Thought of new pranks to play. Thought of escape routes when said pranks are pulled. Got TL to attempt teaching me some Portuguese. Wondering if he forgot already. Came close to burning my report card after I missed Honour Role by two grades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *sulks* Decided that if I do that, no one will belive I got 100% in computers. (Yes I did get 100%) Went to a sports banquet.
Nope, I do nothing over the course of a week, as seen above. Lol.
Happy Easter to all who read this!!!!

30 Hour Famine
As we speak, I am on the 30 Hour Famine, and wondering if this was such a great idea. I am coming up on 24 hours without food and I am beginning to wonder: HOW THE HECK DID I SURVIVE LAST TIME?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? (Meh, I guess a few gallons of friut juice and a little less temptation helped somewhat) The day Mom makes fresh bread, smells so good, looks so good, tastes so good too, AND I CAN'T EAT ANY!!!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!! :@ *sulks*
Getting distracted all day (so far) has helped a lot by sleeping away the 5 minutes that I spend eating breakfast, supper was spend on the Internet, and just now, lunch was over watching my friends practice songs. So cool... Anyways....
My goal was to raise $400 dollars (see? There is a reason why I do this!!) but so far I only have... lets see... about $270 total. That is not good. I need another $130! Oh well, I did the math, and if I get 13 people to each give me 10, then I am happy!!! Major hints to all who read this, cause I need the dough by Monday..... Thanx to all who have chipped in so far!!!
Now I get to go continue my pity party over hunger, and kill the first person to wave a potato chip in front of my face.
Potato chips............. NO!! Must not give in!!!!!!! Must not!!!!!! WILL not give in to temptation!!!! Will resist.... will resist.....
Chips....... mmmmmm.......... food...........
Meh, who am I kidding? RUN, IF YOU HAVE FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It hasn't been a week since the last injury yet!!
Hey, it's only Tuesday and I already have an injury!! This can not be good. I'm afraid of what will hit me in about a month, possibly sooner!!! Hoo boy...
Anyways, what happened was, we were in karate class, doing one-step-sparring, and I was with NE, who besides being a guy is about a foot taller than I am, (I'm about'5"3), and could easily be as strong as Arnold Swar-howeveryouspellit. Anyhow, he was coming up to punch jodan (jaw-level), and either he moved too fast or my block came up too slow (I like to think it was his fault) but he clobbered me Really, Really Hard right above my left eye!!!! It hurt!!! And it's true, you do see stars when ya get clobbered, wether it be a concussion or otherwise.
But it was somewhat fun listening to him have a panic fit, that he had just hurt a more fragile, delicate being, that she now had a severe injury to her head..... And yes it was severe, in my opinion!!!! Well, I was tasting blood in my mouth, as well as brain juice (ew), and I was dizzy, and I saw stars, and I thought I was going to pass out, and my head was throbbing. It hurt a lot. Does that not qualify as severe?! And now I have limited muscle coordination and a major headache. Very annoying. And I don't even get out of working!!!
So I have now employed his little sister Q as a hitwoman until my brain settles back into place. I will get revenge, somehow!!! MUHAHAH- *ahem*
Wouldn't ya know it, as soon as my head recovers from the badminton raquet, I get punched in almost the same spot!! Why me?!?!? Why me?!?!?!??!??!!?!? *sobs*

The stupid thing I did this week...
... That one never wants to do to one's person? (The badminton incident was last week, thank you very much. ) Well, it was during the Outdoor Ed class, we were making kites (genuine, wood-and-garbage-bag kites), and I had to cut a notch into a stick for a string to go. Dry wood cuts very easily. Easier than I thought. My hand was holding the stick, my thumb placed in a desprate position, Right Underneath The (Sharp) Hunting Knife!!!!!!!! Honest, it took 2 seconds and I couldn't even see the cut, there was so much blood coming out!!!! It was gross!!! And I am on... Let's see...... This has got to be at least my 6th bandage on my thumb, cuz they get all nasty and stuff. And a gash right on the end of one's thumb is hard to bandage. So annoying......
I think my thumbs are both going to go on strike soon, cuz there was the hunting knife incident, and on Sunday my cousin's cat attempted carving my other thumb into mincemeat. I think she must have smelled dog/enemy cat on my hand, as opposed to common opinion, which says she only wounded (yes, wounded!) me cause of the tissue wrapping paper I was playing with. Accusation!!! The cat's just predjuced against other cats. I had nothing to do with it!!! Hmm.
And don't give me that look, I wasn't being mean with the tissue paper!!! Darn kitten... (What am I saying?!?!?!?! I love kittens, until they develop claws!!!)
Anyways, back to the hunting knife.
Don't ever do that to yourself, take it from the voice of experience, it hurts!!!!!! And it doesn't even get you out of work, unless you just bleed and bleed to life-threating levels when you get cut, which I don't, so it's not even worth the pain.
So why did I do it? Hmm, hard to say.... Well, I got to gross people out with it, so it was DEFINETLEY worth it for that!!

Annnd here we go again...
As the title says, we are going to give blogging another shot, apologies to all who wondered where the heck my blog disappeared to about a week ago, the reasons for said disapperance I will not go into detail over. But anyways... It's good to be back!! Yay!!! :D
If you are wondering what happened in the time that has gone between my old blog (if you can call it old, it's still the same blog, sorta) and the new one... Well, hate to disappoint you (not!) but I did almost nothing. Had a couple of boring tests. Got chewed out by the school librarian. Have started getting desperate to find sponsers for the 30 Hour Famine. Got thrown into a snowbank by my uncle. Tipped over a ski-doo... with me and my grandpa on it!!! Almost got strangled by my other uncle. Had my cousin attempt to beat me up. My bro. got the new Kutless CD. Am plotting to steal it long enough to burn it. Am trying to find pranks to pull on 95% of the guys in my class and still get away with it. Am plotting to remove peices of a few other male hides if they do not ease off on the annoyances.
Am also trying to figure out who A) stole my lock and B) shot the back of my leg with an airsoft gun yestrday. Actually, that really hurt!!!
While we're on the subject, getting concussed between the eyes with a badminton raquet Really Hurts too!!! That happened almost a week ago and my brains are still settling into place!!!!!!! And did I get sympathy?! NOOOOOO!!!!!!! (OK, that's not true, T gave me some, but D was grinning at me while I had a pity party, trying to get sympathy from Mrs. B!!! Must have been all the "England" comments. Hmm...) The braindead moments are more frequent now, but anyways....
And if I hear ONE PABU comment on hear I may end up removing chunks from some more hides.
Yep, it's good to be back.
:D
